Debt is, in fact, good for you! “Crippling” isn’t all that high I think, but if you rise it by another order of magnitude or so, it will unlock a potentially exciting new area! All this unique experience you will have there!
And aren’t we all in it for the experience? Yes? No? no? rats? Yes?
There’s also a link you can click earlier in the thread that will also take you to debt zone. I clicked it accidentally, so once I get out of Hell Zone then I’ll be immediately shipped off to Debt Zone. Joy.
I just hope escaping Debt Zone is easier than escaping Hell Zone…
This is a truly wonderful game. You are one of the most talented people I know. truly, what a wonder to behold. wowz.
So apparently my escaping hell quality reached 17 overnight, thanks to XoAlto. Many rats shall be sent to them for their generosity.
Also, I’m free now! And escaping debt zone is far, far easier than escaping hell zone, even if you do get sent to Jail zone afterwards. Just for the record.
My crime level has disappeared suddenly. Thanks, XoAlto!
Is it a bug that I lose all my achievements by going to the hell zone? I feel like that is the kind of thing that wouldn’t be taken away. Then again, this game doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in the first place, does it?
Oh, and can you wonderful people break me out of hell again? thanks.
Edit:
Nvm, I’m free thanks again to xoAlto!

Not a bug. I mean, achievements aren’t items per se but hell is very mean.
Ok, the bug thing where you ignore a rat bee and it gives you the same message but doesn’t give you any rats? it happened again.
Right after i got out of hell zone, i clicked the deck and got a tournament sign up and a rat bee and something else. I clicked on the tournament, but i didn’t have 10 rats yet so i clicked perhaps not. Then, i clicked on the rat bee and clicked ignore it, and it said "Rat remains unchanged, at 3"
I don’t know if this is supposed to happen or not. Does this happen for anyone else,or is it just me?
Oh, I see what’s gone wrong there. spoilers; i made a goof
That branch gives you more rats depending on how many bees you currently have (because almost every regular opportunity card has rewards that scale based off of mysterious metrics i decided on a whim), but if you have none then it ends up multiplying by zero so you get nothing at all. I changed it so that you should at least get something no matter what now.
Say, does Ratiation cause permanent harm if you get too much of it and then fail the matter of luck that might protect you from it?
Ok found out the hard way. Thankfully nothing permanent, but now I need more rats. Tens of millions of rats, actually. Feel free to send me a lot.

Would it be possible to make it so certain activities that give no rewards, such as hearing the rules of golf, cost no actions?
Also, how do I gain knowledge of bee zone and what is my rat crown telling me to do with my one hundred million rats?

I’ve been playing RSS2k15 for a couple of weeks now. It’s the only Storynexus game I’ve played much besides FL and Black Crown, so I don’t know if this is usual: stuff loads CONSPICUOUSLY slower than in FL. Ie. when I have both open in tabs, I can do 1.5-2 actions in FL in the time it takes for a click on one action in RSS2k15 to be processed and the result to load. It’s baffling because RSS2k15 has less images and other stuff on the page.
Is this typical of other people’s experiences? Any idea why it happens? I’m thinking of dabbling in writing a world myself but the slow loading is off-putting.

I think that’s a Storynexus thing. It seems to be downloading the entire left pane (where stats and qualilties are) with every action, which is over 100k of data. Fallen London has a more sophisticated handling of changes - it appears to just apply the changes from last actions locally, instead of donwloading the entire current state.
I’ve been playing this for a couple days and have a problem. I was on stage 4 of the Arcane Ritual, but had to log out. Upon logging back in, I realized the storylet wasn’t there anymore, so I’m stuck at level 4. Is this a bug? Is there a requirement I’m not meeting anymore? Help!
hey friends… im in hell zone. help would be much appreciated.
what’s your character (or storynexus) name?
“a ghost” :^)
