Hullo, folks! I’m not exactly new to the Rat Zone (I started playing a few weeks ago) yet I find myself with a paucity of active fellow ratters to send rats to! If you like to send and receive rats, I would love to get acquainted!
Hello there friends! I have no idea what’s going on, but count me in on this rat trade!
Hello there. As I am a colossal idiot, I am trapped in the hell zone. If you could do literally anything to help me out, that would be great. I managed to smuggle in 2 royal brews, but I dunno what else I can do to get out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Username is Lance of Fyraria. Plz heeelp!
I bumbled my way into the rat zones a few weeks ago, however as I only occasionally visit, I am still quite mundane in the way of the rat and am only on my fourth step of the Rat Storage Zone ritual and have yet become either fancy or a chef. …plus I ate my St. Rattus Candle. It tasted of wax and got me arrested.
I was wondering if any kind soul had any advice on when my chef/kingly endeavors might have some light shined on them–how far into the game will I need to get and whatnot–and how long this ritual to get into the Storage Zone is?
…also the option to get my candle from the well is gone and I would appreciate if anyone knows the second way to get a candle!

To become a chef: Go to the boutique de rat. You can buy clothing items that make you fancy there, and have a chefs hat made. It will tell you what you need to make it.
For Kingship, You just need a massive amount of rats, then you’ll get a crown from an automatic event. Having a crown makes you a king.
The Candle is tricky. The only way I know of is to reset your game via ascending to godhood, allowing you to get a new candle from the well.
If you want to ascend, you will need to go to the rat storage zone and get the heart of the rat zone. Combine that with a Billion Rat (Which is made with 1 less that a billion rats aka 999999999 rats aka the max amount of rats) to ascend. Note that most things will be removed (some wont). Your "Seeking a certain tally of rats" quality, will be removed, allowing you to start over.
I’m gonna admit, I was a noob not too long ago. I’ve made a lot of progress though, and I am willing to help you. I could use another person on my contacts, anyways.
Await gifts from the heavens.

Oh dear… I almost wonder if it would just be easier to start again since I’m not very far, but what would be the fun in that? This would be an adventure!
Thank you for the chef and kingly help, too <3
I excitedly await contacts from you in the rat simulator should you decide to send them! I’ve added Lance of Fyraria as a contact, though my internet is being very laggy so it might take me a while to go through and see if there’s a calling card type-option required for the rat simulator like there is in Fallen London for certain actions.

Ok, I’m playing again after I got depressed and stopped due to losing 30 fanciness in the blender (BIGGEST. MISTAKE. EVER). Any good way to farm fanciness? I’m a god, level 5, btw.

Probably a bug report, but that dude who begs you for your royal rats won’t leave me be, now I’ve got his card. The card won’t leave because I lost all my other royal rats due to me thinking eating them might do something, so when I click on the card now it just blanks out and does nothing. Maybe something to reomve the card if you have no royal rats would be a good idea, because now I need to get a royal rat with only two slots available to make him go away. >.<

Best way to farm Fanciness I’d say is with the God of Fanciness God card, and the option Buy Fanciness!, I think it gets you like, 40~70 change points or something or fanciness.
Also, if anyone wants to know how to get rats fast as possible, pm me.
Yeah, that is the way. I’m at 777 fanciness, apparently the max, and I just bought it whenever that card came up. It is quite cheap.
What is your ratsending name Aegis? I’ll send you some fancy when I turn up that god card.

For those who wish to send me rats, send to Kylestien. I may send some back. Maybe.
…Dear gods why am I playing this?

Well, I just won, or lost, the game last night. I’m a little disappointed as there were still some things I wanted to do. If I want to do them it looks like I have to make a new Story Nexus account and reascend my way into the high hundreds again. Is there no other way?
If you’ve managed to successfully hit Rat God 200 you can repeatedly play the storylet and it’ll eventually let you back in. I’m not that cruel.
Welcome to the 200 rat god club. Don’t worry, just keep creating a character and it will eventually randomly reduce your rat god to 199 and you can keep playing. I’ve been at this level for a long time, its nice to see someone else finally making it here too.
Well, that is a relief.
So…
Will we be seeing an update in the name of the game? Or, does time not pass in the Rat Zone?
Last year I didn’t change it until, like, April. Critical masses of rats cause bizarre time dampening, like spending too long beside a black hole.
or maybe i just have exams
I’ll get around to changing it before it’s 2016, probably. No promises.

Help, I’m stuck in the hell zone, how do I get out?
Rats and patience, or external assistance. External assistance is much easier, obviously.
I forgot … is it 5 rescue attempts, or 7?
