Preparing for a Wedding: Hell is Other People

There is seldom more beautiful that two souls joined inexorably as one. Never mind the fact that I’m missing mine or that she’s halfway to mad. Not the point. Never was!

What is is that I intend to have the best d__ned wedding that I possibly can! Let the mad, raucous bacchanal of our matrimony spill into the streets as blood from a beating heart! Let the air spark with electricity and bats fritter away for want of respite from the din! Perhaps not that last part, but it’s going to be a bl__dy good time, you can bet your penny on that!

…That being said, preparations seem, at time of posting this missive, set to last until the sixth city falls. Naturally, this is an issue – or at the very least a cause for careful consideration. It seems as if the fastest way (and cheapest) to reach 10,000 Organising a Wedding would be to farm Legal Documents and turn them in for ~63 per document. That being said, that doesn’t seem terrifically fast. Thoughts? Ruminations? Anecdotes?

Becoming a Rat Catcher with high dangerous and farming rats in Watchmaker’s Hill will get you there (relatively) quickly.

becoming a rat cather is good because of the weekly rewards, right? I mean, it’s 1k per week. it’s not worth changing your profession over it.

also, according to my (probably wrong) math, it takes 250k rats to get 10k organising. it’s pretty doable, I use the unfinished business when I’m not doing anything else, and I’ve got over 50k rats already.

You become a rat catcher for this.

I have +57 dangerous personally (remember you don’t have to actually equip the ratting piece), which would give 128 rats per action. Better than unfinished business by ~28 rats per action, iirc.

Rats are the cheapest way. Their conversion to planning is slow because it takes actions for each batch, but they’re monetarily inexpensive. I also agree with going for ratcatcher for the non-society reducing action.
