I love the StoryNexus System, and I have a really awesome idea for a World, but I am absolutely rubbish at this whole creator tools system. After struggling with it for a bit, I have come to the realization that I have not the ability (nor the time to develop said ability) to bring my concept to life on my own. Yet I hate to simply give up, and so I am here looking for, ideally, my opposite: someone who is adept at utilizing the system, but lacks an overall plan.
I have reason to be confident in my concept. I’m a playwright by trade, and have won awards and seen my plays on the stage. I already have an outline for the progression of an initial storyline and numerous ideas for how to expand it. I would bring all my knowledge and expertise in creative writing into this partnership. Ideally, I would want to work with someone who has a good, thorough understanding of all the options available in the system, so that we could brainstorm and cooperate on fitting the story and mechanics together seamlessly. And, of course, if we were so lucky as to make any money, we would split it equally.
I apologize if this is inappropriate, or if I sound pretentious! I simply hate to throw away an idea after I’ve spent so much time on it, especially when the potential subject medium is so very … delicious!
