Pocketful of Loose Change - can it be reducced?

I have a query for my fellow restless souls (or those sans-soul): if I have inadvertently increased my PoLC beyond 7… is there a way to reduce it?

I need to acquire another Mark of Credit page, but since the available options only come up when PoLC is at 4 or 7, I fear I may have missed my only chance!

You don’t need to reduce the PoLC quality to buy a Mark of Credit.

You need at least 4 or 7 to unlock those options, so you can also play them when the PoLC quality is higher.

When you need exactly X to play a branch, the tooltip for the unlock condition will tell you explicitly.

BTW, buying a Mark of Credit is the only way to reduce Loose Change.
