Please Failbetter release a new Unterzee map, even if it’s different from the one you released for the Sunless Sea’s kickstarter.
I wasn’t able to back the project (didn’t know about the games then) and i really wish I could have a map. I already have the High Wilderness chart, the Clathermont’s Tattoo Parlour art, and the Fallen London arcana but the Unterzee map would be the crown of the collection (or if you are feeling generous maybe also add the map of Fallen London? or any more art in general so I can fill my walls with the Fallen London universe)
The universe certainly has a lot of potential for posters and art, we have the London map on the Fallen London location selection screen, also the island selection one (that one has a lot of charm), or even the event posters for events like Firmament, the Sixth Coil, the London horticultural show, etc.
It would be very nice to have a sort of Gallery of Fallen London Art. It would be marvellous to have it accessible from Veilgarden or the Singing Mandrake: a place where you can stroll and admire paintings and alikes. But I reckon I’m going too far …
Didn’t think about a gallery in the game, that would be cool too. A place in which you can check past and present art (and maybe download some backgrounds?) would have my character hanging there for hours
Yes I agree, it would be amazing for wall decorations, especially for new comers, I am sure plenty would pay come time around the anniversary of the story’s release
