No visitors at Hallowmas?

hi!
does anyone know how long the visitors at Hallowmas event lasts? I still didn’t get my visitor :(
Should I need to be in a particular place?

Visitors will appear via an opportunity card (which seems to come fairly regularly in my small stack)

They are Abundant frequency, so compose yourself to patience and maybe sacrifice a die or two to the RNG.

Also, remember you’ll Need Nightmares and Making Waves at 5 to receive visitors. Confessions are a great way to build up Making Waves.

That’s weird, even though I’ve had nightmares 5 and making waves 9+ for quite some time, nothing happened…

They are definitely not “Abundant” in my deck.

I actually posted a little rant in the main event thread, because this has been getting on my nerves for a fews hours. And here I go again X-(

Good news everyone! (ahem…)
nothing wrong with my account it would seem. As usual, RNG hates me :p
but I finally got it.
I thought about something: when you choose to let the visitor in, it resets your making waves. Maybe that’s what happened when you bought your fish? in which case, you should build it back up to 5.

Nope, it only lowered it by 1-2 CP.
I have it at 7, and have actually looked through the wiki for a way to spend the extra so as not to waste it when my next encounter resets it.

Huh. Mine was at 10, and got squashed flat by my visitor (though I didn’t pick the fishy fellow). I hadn’t chosen a destiny before, however.

It’s just the fish-buying that doesn’t squash your Making Waves.
(I eventually got my card, I feel much less tense, now)

&quotAbundant&quot is their rarity flag, it means they’re five times as common as standard cards. But if your deck is big, five instances of it might not be very common, still.

Ah i didnt get any visitors either. Guess we both just not lucky.

Making waves is 8 and nightmares is 7 but haven’t had a visitor for two days despite turning my six cards over at least 5 times a day. Is there something else I should be doing.

You need to be in your lodgings I believe.

I don’t think that’s the case. I think you’re just unlucky, paul. it’s only 5x frequency, IIRC- for every time you draw specific card you should draw it 5 times, but with a deck size of ~80, which i think is a reasonable or generous in your favor estimate, you flipped 60 cards, shuffling after each draw and didn’t draw any of 5 of the same type. Which is unlikely, but not implausible. Good luck getting it in the future?

Yeah, the card has Abundant Frequency and has no requirements. You should be able to draw it anywhere in London, no matter your MW and Nightmares level.

It’s just a matter of luck.
