On that last part I’ve come to see Corsairing as not only a profitable side hustle, but actually optimal. As counterintuitive as it sounds, you’re just leaving money on the table if you cross paths with the navy and DON’T mug them or scam them for information on your next rival.

What is your current “officially recognized valorous deed” 's? Mine’s currently 14, but will probably be at least a 20 by the time we’re finished with this event considering that this is the only thing I’m doing currently.

Oh, bloody rat market! Always the bloody rat market with the endgame, it seems, and I dare say I dread the day I will need to use it considering the only Time I did I found it confusing and insufferable. The endgame cannot come late enough for me, I say!

I think what idyl is referring to is that there are plans this month to overhaul the Rat Market, so some strategies that are the meta right now may not be in the future.
I just hope they wait until after I’ve gotten rid of my Storm-Threnody stockpile (and racking up more Wild Words from Fluke Hunting is-but-isn’t helping).
