There is a trick that you can use during the Rose fest to send CE skulls to yourself. I mentioned this in another thread and some people did not think it was a good way to play the game. They felt it was ignoring the socializing intent of the Rose fest. The trick is to send a CE skull to someone else and then immediately cancel the gift. Instead of getting back the Inklings of Identity, the CE skull goes to you. I farmed a LOT of IoI both by me and by my alt. I then had my alt send me CE skulls. I also sent CE skulls to my alt, immediately cancelled the gift, and got the CE skull for myself instead. A mentor also sent me a lot of CE skulls. I also sent a few CE skulls to mentors. They said that they did not need them as they also had over 100 but I felt it was a small token of my appreciation. It was really easy to farm/grind IoI during the Rose Fest. I probably ended up with ~110 CE skulls after the Rose Fest. This will get me through until next year at the maximum allowable use rate of two per week.

When a gift is accepted, both players have spent an action for a single gift. When it’s rejected or cancelled, there’s still a single gift but only one player spends an action.
Accepting a gift instead of rejecting or canceling it is objectively wrong.

But you probably shouldn’t pollute the inbox of someone who’s actually playing the game. There are definitely some names on my contact list who haven’t logged in for years.
Yeah, I don’t mind being sent/cancelled things like that, some people do though. I figure you might as well use an alt if you’re going to, since you never know whether somebody’s gonna object or not.
