Hello, I’m newer to the game and realized I should have started looking for friends earlier. I’ve been playing and enjoying the game for some months now but had bad experiences other places trying to make acquaintances to help with the game. I love this game and the community seems great so I’m taking a chance.
I’ve reached the tournament of lilies stage and am hoping to get some help finding someone at around level 12/11 (I keep doing badly at the feed it wine challenge) who would like to do that/explain it to me.
I have a bunch of Christmas cards to send if people would like those sent as well who need scandal lowered if I can hopefully figure that out. Oh my in game is KibethBelgear just like my username here
Best correct the spelling in the penultimate line, otherwise nobody will be able to send you a card, and no acquaintances will accumulate.
I don’t know whether anyone has been in touch about the tournament, but it may be worth knowing that a fair few players who have finally managed to achieve 19 with their plant and stop drawing the cards (yay!) are hesitant to put that at risk by taking part in the tournament. Results are random, and a loss means you’re back to drawing the plant cards, many of which potentially lose more points.
Your best bet is other early players who are at the tournament stage themselves, so a smaller circle of possible candidates.

Thanks for that! There used to be a specific page for people looking for Tournament of Lilies or other event specific friends but when I tried the link it said it was defunct.
I’m always up for plant tournament (well, most of the time, not between January 5th and the end of january since I’ll be grinding cards for a long-lived noman). But anytime other than that, tournament invites are welcome.

The Tournament of Lilies is not a very profitable endeavour. Not saying you shouldn’t participate, but maybe don’t make it a big focus.
That being said: Calia de Lirpe and Tritherton Baquliffe both participate in the tournament on a regular basis, but I couldn’t tell you what stage they are at or what their attending level is from the top of my head.
In terms of raising attending: I never bothered with the wine option and used the Appaling Secrets and Goldfish options from 12 to 15.
Thanks so much, that helps a lot. Yeah, currently I’m more trying to figure out how it works at all and working on trying to raise scholar of the correspondence past 3 and get the archaeologist level up to 5 while waiting for the next thing for the person of some importance to roll around.
For the plant, probably not worth participating in the tournament until you max out its level at 19. At that level, restoring it is free (in items) since one of the cards at 18 raises the plant value for free. Below that, it costs items.
I’m at level 6 and happy to accept challenges.
