Nothing special happens if you were to choose 3 instead of 5, but Mr Pages’ training in particular gives a unique item should you have a Ray-Drenched Cider on hand, so most people prioritize him over the others.
Be sure to explore the other new areas available right now, such as the University Lab and the Bone Market at the Dept. of Menace Eradication, as a lot of new stuff just recently opened.
