Delicious friends, after receiving your feedback, we’re delighted to announce that it’s now possible to change your Person of Some Importance specialisation!
Beginning today, you will now be able to change the specialisation at a cost of 12 Notability or 15 Fate. There are no limits to how many times you may change it. You will keep any bonuses you have added to your stats.
As a further update, patrons can now also invite non-Persons of Some Importance to be their Protégé. edited by Absintheuse on 7/24/2017

Excellent!. Thank you.
So now it’s possible (with much much patience) to switch POSI specialization and raise Renown for all factions as high as it an go.

OK, I’m confused.
I see a new (0-action) option under Unfinished Business in Spite, called "Observe the Ambitious Barrister". It’s locked for me, presumably because my base Shadowy is 199 at the moment (the option requires 12 more than my modified Shadowy, so I assume the requirements are Base Shadowy 200 + 12 Notability or something like that).
However, I see no other corresponding options in any of the other 3 Unfinished Business storylets.
Now I’ve been scratching my head for several minutes now, but I’m not any nearer to figuring it out. Could someone tell me what FLR stands for, please?
Edit: Ooh! Ooh! Fallen London Reworks? Is that it? Do I win a prize? Even if it’s only the prize for being the stupidest person on the forum? edited by Plynkes on 7/24/2017

Should these be visible or not?
That option disappeared shortly afterwards, so I’m assuming not.

The only way I would change from my Persuasive POSI if either if one other gave a massived advantage or if we finally discover A Paramount Presense, which I think everyone has just plain given up on.
I’m not sure if this is obvious and I’m missing something but when I check my POSI quality, it tells me I am a significant individual. The hover text tells me to raise all of my stats to 100 (I am nearing 200 in all 4 of them) and await the Ambitious Barrister. Did I miss something or is that just referencing her taking me to the Side Streets?
Well, this fits nicely with the "new goals for high level players’’. It will have us grinding notability like crazy of course (12 then 15 again, 12 then 15 again…) but since the elections are over…

I think a pretty compelling reason for changing is the option to overcap all stats.
It does sound as the best description for "paramount". A know it all! Probably not 215, but I’m sure if someone goes for it, it’ll be to 215!
Probably dov is working on it considering he has max 33 BDR. Shitloads of MW, but… :D
You can "Withdraw your Patronage" via "Deal with matters of Patronage!" in your lodgings.
Deactivated people aren’t valid targets. The official response is that they periodically clean it up and the wait is generally not a problem. Until this update, of course. edited by Estelle Knoht on 7/25/2017
In case anyone is stuck looking for it as long as I was, after you’ve done your Unfinished Business actions, you go to Attend to matters of society in your lodgings for the next step.
