Favours and Scraps Uses

I have two related questions, and would be grateful for others’ advice and input. Simply put: what are some of the best uses of favors and scraps?

For favours, I have gotten Renown 50 in (almost!) all of the available factions, and for scraps I have gotten all four of the items that cost 3200 scraps. What I’m wondering now is - what’s the best use of all these favors and scraps now that I don’t need to hoard them anymore? I’m trying to save up for the Cider, so I am especially interested in which uses yield the most echoes.

Thank you all!

Docks favours are the best method for acquiring expedition supplies, and therefore contribute to the most profitable Echo grind in the game. That’s a good place to start. Most of the other favours can be Called In for something over 4E (or a bit over 2EPA, given that it takes one to get them).

The best use of favours is conflict cards, which give you more echoes in value than any Calling in Favours option except The Flit. Turning in your Society Favours in Court is also more lucrative than doing so in the Shuttered Palace.

The most valuable use of scraps in terms of echoes is still getting the 3200 scrap items and then selling them.

I had forgotten about the conflict cards. Of course, given that those are notably less numerous than favour-granting options, you’ll still need to call them in at times.

What is the EPA range for that, given the extra action to get into the Court? Obviously, you’ll get a better deal if you do 6 at once, but has anyone done the math?

Answering my own question:

Lady in Waiting (Palace): 210 bottles of 1882, or 4.2E, for 2 actions (EPA 2.1)
Street Signs (Court): 5 signs, or 12.5E, for 5 actions (EPA ~2.5)
Street Signs x2: 10 signs, or 25E, for 9 actions (EPA ~2.8)

If you wait until you have 7 favours and cards for 2 more favours in your hand (let’s say it’s two cards), you can do
Street Signs x3: 15 signs, or 37.5E, for 13 actions (EPA ~2.9)
If you can get a repeatable source of favours without leaving the court, it converges to lim x->inf=12.5/4=3.125 EPA

In contrast, revolutionary favours in flit are 720*0.04/4=7.2 EPA
