I believe they only allow you to replay in options where you had a choice: The plaster face (which is not fate-locked content by the way) has the choice of killing or sparing the big rat, the affair of the box has the choice of who to side with, and the soul trade also has a choice of sides.
Does Long-Lost Daughter storyline have any special branches for players with “Tragedy: Death of a Daughter” quality?
Hello one and all, I was hoping for consultations on matters of companionship
Specifically I have been eying the Devout Intriguer with great interest. I know only a little of what goes on in the Foreign Office yet it seems to me that she would be my primary motivation for attending. The cultured attache does not pique my interest, and I am satisfied with the home decor I can already scrounge up. However I was hoping to ask a few things about her before I consider purchasing the Foreign Office storylet.
Feel free to answer in spoilers:
-
Is she a Snuffer? what with face stealing and all that?
-
Is she considered evil? I would settle for amoral but I have to draw the line somewhere.
-
Would I have to do something very bad/ Irrevocably evil to attain her affections? I consider myself somewhat upright, sort of…
A ‘yes’ or ‘no’ will suffice for each question.Thank you for your time.

I had no idea my question was a breach of decorum. I had thought such such subject matters were broached here often. In any event I don’t need to know the entire story, in fact I am more concerned with the first question than the others. I just got around to completing the Plaster Face Storyline and found the Big Rat, a Snuffler, to be a vile creature. I have encountered Snufflers on several other occasions and so have a distaste for them.

it’s just specifics that are off limits as far as open discussion goes.
Generally speaking I think you’ll be happy with your decision.

Really? Well… I’ll give it some thought. The Artist’s Model is nice and all but I can’t relate to her very well - plus she is not terribly interesting. The Devout Intriguer seems the kind of person who will stand by you no matter what hellspawn comes knocking.

Hello fellow Londoners! I’ve been lurking for a while. I was looking for mention of how to access, or buy, the second-(or is it third?) part of Theological Husbandry, but I couldn’t find any on the forums. I believe it’s called Bound in Diocesan Intrigue. Is there a card involved? PM me with the answers, if it’s not too much trouble. I don’t want to step on any toes.

The solution to this problem, as it is to so many of life’s challenges, is a horse. You need to breed a horse. Then the third part will come knocking at your door.
I do have a horse, actually. Amazing what you can do with bats. Stubborn thing, though. And a bunch of other critters too. There’s a terrible owl somewhere up in the rafters, too. I guess I’ll just have to camp out at home and be shudder patient. Thanks, though.

I am currently working on the corruption in the Velocipede Squad. I truly and utterly hope it is worth it as I am currently about 60 actions in and I haven’t earned a single thing. I understand that on the surface doing the right thing is rarely rewarded but this well on its way to being ridiculous.
Yeah, that one doesn’t get very many rewards. There’s something with a tomb-colonist I think that lets you both advance the plot and get rewards. For some time.
It’s worth it for the delicious justice. It’s the path I took, anyway. I waited till I was done with Smiles, of course. Speaking of, is there anyone who can PM me what happens if you took the third option at the fork, and you went to outside sources instead of working from within or giving up and joining in.?

So, just got done with the Secrets of the Velocipede Squad. My response…
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
I am so glad I settled up with Smiles before doing this. It was quite possibly the worst Fate locked content I have ever done. I don’t want to be too specific and court the wrath of the powers that be but that was a whole LOT of actions for a very, very small reward. It didn’t even increase traits that I would want to increase past a very low amount. Not cool at all. I hope that the new content is much better.
I am content with the Intriguer. And really are faces so hard to grow back?
I am slowly getting enough fate/nex for one of these stories as well; so I was wondering:
Assuming you get to choose one of the stories (I’ll probably get around to get more later), which one would you choose of The Labyrinth of Tigers; Flute Street or Secrets covered in gold?
I would expect Flute Street, seeing as you need that for the Labyrinth; but what would you suggest?

Labyrinth of Tigers requires fate only for the Theological Husbandry line of quests, so check out the animals you can get from it before deciding. I have heard bad things about Flute Street, that someone wanted a refund so at the very least it should be on the bottom of your list. That is all I can add.

Au contraire, Flute Street should be top of the list.
It’s Spinning the Wheels I regret having done.

I think you’re confusing Flute Street with the Rubbery Mysteries. Flute Street is lovely and well worth the Fate/Nex, Rubbery Mysteries is the one I see most frequently complained about. Lots of people wish they could get their money back for the Rubbery Mysteries.
All right, I’ve done the daring move and gone for Flute Street =)
