So, I just realized that in my advancement, I skipped over the storylet involving The Last Constable and the Cheery Man. Well, I skipped over the bulk of it. I somehow have Family and Law 1, so it doesn’t allow me to commence an acquaintance with the Last Constable that is still available to see on Ladybones Road. I assume that must mean that I had clicked the Cheery Man in the past. How can I continue his storyline? I’m not quite POSI yet, but I’m getting there. I’ve nerfed my stats as much as I can to see if I can retrigger it on Watchmaker’s Hill.
Any advice?
Hhmmm…I see your point, the original abode of the Cheery man is now inaccessible -which seems strange, as in all other areas one can always return to the starting area (veilgarden singing mandrake, ladybones explore secrets, spite explore the alleys). What does your story quality say? Surely if you clicked the cheery man in the past, it would say in the story area that you favor him right?
Personally I would also drop it at support@failbetter (whatever it’s called) as a possible bug/fault, since it seems strange that Watchmakers hill is the only area where you cannot return to the original starting storylet.
