Does this mean that Seeking will soon be returning? The addition of a related storylet hasn’t happened for a while.
Also, how do you get spoiler tags to work here :(

[ spoiler ] TEXT [ /spoiler ]
Remove the spaces between the square brackets and the word Spoiler, for both of them. Also be mindful that only one Spoiler tag can be active at once. If you’re using Reply With Quote and the text you’re quoting has a spoiler tag already, you may have to cut that bit out as only the first Spoiler tag works.
If you Quote this comment and try to add a spoiler tag of your own, you’ll soon see what I mean. :-) Some of us just replace the quoted Spoiler box with text like -snip-, or something along those lines, to indicate that there was something there but its since been removed.
Ah I see, yes I was replying to quoted posts and wondering what was going wrong. Thanks!

I really hope it will be returning! I’ve been looking forward to becoming a Seeker for quite a while.
Does this mean that Seeking will soon be returning?
I wouldn’t count on it. Seeking is probably low on a very, very long list of things FBG has in the pipes right now.
I didn’t find this option, so it may only appear if you have Stains, but are no longer actively Seeking the Name. There used to be a Fate option in Flute Street that did that as well.
Why would you want to remove Stains on your Soul though? Their main effect seems to be making your soul much less appetising, which is clearly an improvement.
Did anyone echo the secret rites in Caution? The ones you need the Word to view? I’d love to read them.
For some it may be RP reasons. Other might actually want to sell their souls. Some may have sold a stained soul, sold it at Hallowmas and want to remove the stain so they can return to the Forgotten Quarter.
Did anyone who betrayed the Countess PM me the reward or link me to the echoes result?

The Countess? Do you mean the Prioress, or am I confused?
And my character is no longer Seeking. Sure, it makes the soul offputting to demons, but Seeking is a thing she regrets in the first place.
Yes, I meant Prioress. My mistake.
I forgot to record it all, but betraying the Patroness gives you…
…the Word of Caution, the Knapt (those two if you don’t already have them), a Ravenglass Knife, and a Skyglass Knife. She’s got a lot of knives. (Although no K&C weapons! What a poor excuse for a Vespertine.) It removes the Patroness quality (or is it an item?) that gets removed after she leaves, in any case. I don’t think there were any other rewards or menaces, and I don’t think there are any lasting differences in other qualities (the main “Seeking a Prison of Flint” ends up at 2000 either way, I think?)
I’m currently Seeking but haven’t got any stains yet, and the option was visible for me (although I didn’t meet the requirements).

And I am neither Seeking nor stained, but still had the option visible (just greyed).
I recall seeing it on my Seeker, too. Didn’t pick it since I didn’t want to have to redo that part at some point, but I could have.

Well, I saw the option without having any stains. That’s rather curious.

The thing in Flute Street fixes something else, IIRC? The scars.
I’m really sad I can’t visit Caution or go on an expedition anymore. Those locations were the most fun, and I’ve enjoyed the opportunity cards greatly.
I think they would work very well as permanent locations, like Adam’s Way. Would it be too much to ask?
I liked the story but I still feel there’s lots of little things I’ve missed that I’d like to check out or revisit.
I chose to betray the Patroness, but I kinda regret my choice. Could anyone tell me what would’ve happened had I chosen the alternative ?
I fear I’ve missed out on the Part 2 content. I took passage at Wolfstack and upon arriving, the first option off the ship was a list of locations. I chose "London" and was taken back to the city and appear to have ended the story before even beginning it. I now see no way to return. Is there any way I might try this again?
