Connected: Rubbery Men Rework in Progress

I think he just means the posts describing changelogs. I’ve only seen one changelog ever, when I had just started playing ages ago.

Alright so what’s the best methods for grinding Urchins?

It seems like the only reliable grind gives 3 change points, if you really want to do this the storylet is in the filt &quotFun with the Fisher-Kings&quot and then &quotSpeak softly to the little villains&quot, you can also just wait for cards instead of grinding that option.

Or you can do both.

I wonder how Favors will change the Orphanage.

To grind Urchins, Get your Hell and Widow connections up to add the conflict cards to your deck. You can also use the Arson and Avarice options on An Implausible Penance (3 criminal favours) and tip off the squatters.

Kaigen, guess that’s what everybody does after seeing the only viable grind (always available) is the 3CP/AP.
I sometimes hope that something was modified ingame, even a bit, to facilitate the Urchin grind. :D
Thanks for the earlier replies about the urchins :)

I’m wondering - on that note - does anyone estimate what level of connection we’ll need for the remaining conversions? Example, I imagine Society and Bohemians will require much high connections to get 50 renown, due to being so easy to grind, but then what about say the Masters or Somerset/Bethnic? I’m just curious as to what levels I should be grinding towards for those that remain :-S
They said they’d leave those for last, since they might have to do something weird with them. So no one really knows.

Seems like I’m a bit late to the game here, but if someone wouldn’t mind PM’ing me about the Flute St item, that’d be great. :)

Keep in mind that the Hell conflict will gain you 3 CP of Wounds each time.

It’s on my mantelpiece.

Would anyone mind PMing me the requirements for the 3rd Renown item in Flute Street?

The requirements are 40 Renown and 7 Favours.

So is urchins changeover happening on Tuesday or just sometime in the future, next?

I think they’re next, but no date has been set as far as I’m aware. There hasn’t been an &quotofficial&quot announcement like with the other factions.

None of the others had a concrete date, either, just a vague- we’re working on this, so it’ll be implemented soon- until it was ready, in which case they announced it quickly.

I’m pretty sure Docks, Tomb-Colonists, and Rubbery Men all had announcements the week in advance. I think the last two specified days as well.

So urchins are next, huh? I don’t think either of my accounts are terribly invested in them, but I’ll check. I’d hate to have Connected in the high teens and then lose it all for nothing.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested: the non-discardable rubbery card remains in the deck (unlike the tomb colonists one) even if you spend down a couple of favours elsewhere.

Which card is that?

It was “They all look the same to me”.
I’ve just realised it unlocks with 5, and I’d been careless enough to acquire 7. Which explains why it didn’t go away… (only gave 500 rostygold, though, which I put down to having 5 rather than 7 favours).

(Going off to possibly unprofitably spend favours elsewhere is just an expression of how I hate being put in Zugzwang by these cards.)

Hopefully the urchins are not too soon. It will be a good few weeks before I have their connected quality to an even remotely reputable level. It is a shame I can not use the docks conflict card to raise them any more.
