The Gods of Random looked upon me benignly and granted a coruscating soul from a small store of 6 deals with the devil and two last hopes. One lens still in reserve (!)
I reported a bug about that a week ago. Got no reply other than the automated.
I am assuming it’s an extension of the (very old) bug that let ratsending messages spill into fallen london messages sometimes.
Today, I have capped my first stat, Persuasive and became, finally, Legendary Charisma! Took me only about a year of playing, too! XD
After nine failures, I have finally acquired a yacht on my tenth attempt!
