Congratulations on getting lovely watches so fast! I remember that the first one took me many (many, many) actions and I thought that I was unlucky as it was around 40-60. Congratulations for getting a lovely theorem and for getting the "lost" smoky puff! :) 4th time only from One’s public?
After getting SiC to level 77 I was really eager to start robbing rats and get rid of the blasted card that was in my deck for about 10 months. At first, RNG was a bastard and only got 2 watches after 330 attempts, but the next 20 AP gave me another and, in the end, after 451 attempts I got another.
Probably the rare success is around 1%, but I’m happy with my 0.89% considering how bad it started! Now I can count my 57645 coins while checking the time on 4 lovely Ratwork Watches! :D
After hoarding trade secrets for ages, Edith finally finished a Classic Short Story. I waited for one more month so I could have 100% chance at passing the challenge. After all that I put into it, there was no way I was going to fail, haha.
Excellent! As someone who died 3 or 4 times in a row attempting to manufacture an Impossible Theorem, I congratulate you! I’m now trying again (this time with a Mood card in my back pocket).
I’ve not been playing for very long, but I think I’ve already peaked. At present I’m looking for the Tomb of the Seven in the Forgotten Quarter, and in the span of four actions "A sign?" came up three times. You know, the option that gives 4 x progress at no cost. Makes up for the two occasions that I’ve had to abandon expeditions only one point away from success. edited by Anchovies on 4/3/2017
I went through a round of fidgeting writer, starting with about 400 tales of terror, and ended up with 14 coruscating souls! If my math is right, that’s 4 more than I should have expected, and I’m within 1000 echoes of a goat!
It’s also possible I did my math wrong and I should have gotten more than that, but if that’s the case, don’t break my heart. Let me live in my ignorant world where I am happy.

Only a few months ago, I never would have dreamed that anyone would ever say to me, "I’m within 1000 echoes of a goat!," much less that I’d be impressed.
Just as an update, I had a 1000 echoes worth of stuff lying around, so I now have my goat!
When I started this game, I jokingly told my sister that all I wanted out of it was a goat and a counterfeit head of John the Baptist. Now I’m halfway there. If only I were ruthless enough to use that stupid nephrite lens up…
Just realised that Salt Weasel is a rarity. (Is it?)
Started a week ago, accidentially got this cutie some days ago while helping the Last Constable lady. Time for a belated celebration.

I think so, yes. I’ve never run across one. That is pretty cool. I had only been playing a couple of weeks when I got the Scuttering Squad from the Advent Calendar; it took me a while to realize just how useful those guys are.

Yes, it is, after a fashion. There’s a triad of pets (the others are a hungover dog and a euphonium, of all things) that are mutually exclusive. Also, for mysterious reasons known only to the RNG, the card for it seems to be particularly elusive to those looking for it. (How far this is watched pot syndrome, no one of course can say.) So congrats and enjoy your musteline friend!

Knowing myself, I would definitely like to obtain it whenever I learn about its existence anyway, so it’s really for the best that it happened accidentally. RNG power is dark and full of mysteries.
RNg decided to surprise me greatly, by giving me my very own Rubbery Euphonium! Well, I guess I should do Fidgeting Writer or something while this blessing still last.
