I started this infamous route a month ago and I was wondering what I will need later on.
I know I will have to reach 200 watchful, spend thousands of echo in grinding some items and get rid of anything past some point, but I was wondering if I need some high tier item(like M____r B___d) because I still have to sell the location of Nadir.
Just off the top of my head, you may need a bunch of Searing Enigmas depending on your choices, so save those and maybe save your Trade Secrets so you can swap them for Enigmas if needed. You can use the M____ B___ along with several other insanely rare items for a certain optional ritual that will speed things along a little, but it’s not essential.
You’ll need something very valuable to sacrifice to the well, which may take a lot of preparation, and you’ll need at least 12 Notability for St. Destin. It may take some time to reach Notability 12, but it’s easy to maintain and St. Destin’s candle is quite late in the seeking road, so you can slowly work toward this. (Unless you want to wait for a suitable holiday. Who knows, maybe the calendar will sync up just right.)
edit!!: oh yeah, you’ll definitely need a Starveling Cat. And your soul.

You will have to grind some Echoes - but at one point, you will need to dispense of most of your moolah, to below 7.77 Echoes.
At that point (The Well phase), I suggest that you buy Diaries of the Dead, if only to lock your wealth in these items.

Or Orphans! Lot of Orphans which will end up netting you an average of 2.2 EPA in the Dilmun club expansion.
Disadvantages are the zee trip, spending time out of London (bye, bye lovely cards) and the fact that you can’t access those funds right back.

I’d love it (only for the extra challenge) if suddenly you couldn’t use Winking Isle with over 77 Tribute, or something to that effect. Or even worse…
if giving up your connections also removed all Tribute, in addition to removing Renown.

Easily avoided by cashing all Tribute, moving it to Orphans, do the necessary preparations and repeat.
Some didn’t even unlock that area; probably not even the Lab story! :D
