Same here, mind sending an invite my way? I haven’t figured out how to send invites from my phone.

To send them, look in your lodgings (upper right of the map on the website, and I believe in the app as well). There is a storylet for each major stat: the one of Persuasive is “attend to matters of society and scandal”.
