An Empress from between the First and the Silk?

So recently in class, we learned about the so-called &quotBactro-Margiana Archaeological Complex&quot, which is a bit of a mouthful way of referring to the Bronze Age culture that existed in Bactria and the Margiana, areas above Iran and Afghanistan in modern-day Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

One group of artefacts associated with that culture is that of the &quotBactrian Princesses&quot, composite figurines of steatite and calcite, with very fine yet vague facial features and wide, bellowing gowns that give them a certain spectral quality.

Now, my question is - who does this Bactrian princess make you think of? (Yes, I am aware it’s a loaded question.)
