Agents: Intelligence and Intrigue

The thing I don’t want is that Agents just consist of running the 2-3 best Plots repeatedly with the same Agents. This is how the first set of Plots ended up, and that’s ok for the first set to be mechanically simple. But I really hope the future sets create (the option of) variance in the cycle.

And one form that could take is a bullpen of extra Agents that only get called up for infrequent special missions. I think that would be cool, thematically, and also justify having ten Agents for only three Plots slots. For whatever implementation of “infrequent” one cares to implement.

What I’m seeing so far, without getting as far as the Mole, is that it looks like one of the Intelligencier plots basically has a 4-plot cooldown. Not necessarily my favorite approach, I might have preferred more RNG, but I like that it sets the stage for alternating or varying the splits being run. I like the direction that this is growing.
