a couple of fate locked story questions.

1 is ‘cut with moonlight’ worth getting into? the game it self dosent seem to mention anything about the sunlight trade all I know about it is what I remember from my time with sunless sea.

2 is ‘the calendar council’ part of a season? and if so is there any particular order I should play its brother and sister in?.
I’m vaguely curious about cut with moon light and REALY interested in the calendar council partly because it would do my character the world of good to take the next step from his revolutionary mingling and also partly because I don’t know a great about and I’m very curious?.

  1. Cut with Moonlight is a pretty good story. It also grants access to infinite Mirrorcatch Boxes and some neat content about an alternate surface.

  2. Do you mean The Calendar Code? It only indirectly features the Council. The other two stories in the Season of Revolutions are Five Minutes to Midday and The Chimney Pot Wars; the conclusion is more directly about the Council.

  3. Questions of this nature are generally best directed to the fate-locked content thread.

  1. That’s a hard question. I tend to recommend all the ESes, but it depends on what you’re looking for. You’ll definitely get information about the sunlight trade, and the opportunity to sample some low-quality stuff yourself, so if that’s exactly what you’re looking for, it would be ideal.

  2. I assume you meant The Calendar Code. Yes, it is; the Season of Revolutions, along with Five Minutes To Midday and The Chimney Pot Wars. You’ll learn a bit about the Calendar Council but you won’t necessarily be directly involved with them. However, if you want to actively aid the Revolutionaries, I would probably recommend Lost In Reflections first, which not only features a member of the Council you can’t meet elsewhere in the game, but also stands alone and is one of the best Exceptional Stories by a fairly thorough consensus.

ahh yes it should have been but I well just kind of forgot ‘shrugs’
1 neto thanks.

2 yes I did mean the calendar code “derp” and I kind of figured they’d be more directly involved due to the name and all.

also to Jeremy thanks for that little tip I wasn’t really aware of that story but the description is pretty blunt.

The order of the Season of Revolutions ES are Five Minutes to Midday, The Chimney Pot Wars, and The Calendar Code. Considering that these are some of my favorite ES and my favorite season overall, I’d really recommend trying it out. I’d also second what Jeremy said about playing Lost in Reflections, which also involves the Revolutionaries and has direct interaction to their Council.

As for Cut with Moonlight, if you’ve always wanted to play as a high class drug dealer with ties to Surface shenanigans and alternate timelines, then it’s the story for you.
