Yeah, the latest update - BLEMMIGAN - has had a weird effect on performance for me.

On the one hand, still getting the big stutter. In fact, it's worse now. Big, jarring jumps whereas before it was more of a delay with every "tick".

BUT, I can tell the performance has improved inbetween the jumps, if that makes sense. Like, turning is smoother in between them.

I can totally confirm this for my game, too. The stutter itself has become a lot rougher, but in between it's as smooth as can be.

Rupho Schartenhauer has killed a Master, well: most of it.
Cortez the Killer has killed a Master, definitely.
Deepdelver has become the progenitor of London's brightest star. It's... complicated.
Dr. Kvirkvelia, gone NORTH on 23/12/1894.

Haven't had the stutter up until now, but this update brought it in. It's not severe, just annoying, and it comes and goes in severity.

Having the stutter. I think it's interacting with my browser (which I use to look up things on the wiki such as where to get drowning pearls).

I had no lag on my current system before Blemmigan, but now I'm getting the jump stutter too.

(Also is it just me or did the teleporting civilian ships get worse?)

No, I don't pull the Eater of Names.

Teleporting civvie ships got weirder for me but not worse exactly.

Like, I see more neutral ships, and for the most part, they've been good at not jumping around too much.

However I did see one jump, and one time while in Khan's Heart, I saw a civvie ship pull up to the lower side of the Khanate, and then sort of park and fade away.

I kind of liked it as a way to show the ship "docking", but I am in no way sure whether that's the intent of the effect.
