This wasn't accidental, but blackening my mind twice, when I was at early/mid-game, on my main character. I had barely touched my ambition. I'm still not a PoSI. The Watchful would have really helped me progress through Fallen London and unlock everything. Makes expeditions harder, too. Drawing so many Eyeless Skull cards didn't help, either! Maybe if my Watchful were higher I could do something with them (Nadir).
But I also lost 45 crates of expedition supplies because I overestimated my Watchful. Sigh... Now I am just milling around, waiting for Docks favours. And drawing more Eyeless Skulls.

I believe mine has to be my lapse in game play -- I was playing back at the beginning, nearly right at the start, and I had all my stats raised to maximum and thought I'd done everything so I stopped for a time. Unfortunately for me, the game continued apace and so when I returned I found that many of the things I thought I'd done need re-doing, and it's hell to try and go back and retrace my steps with my stats as high as they are (it's very hard to build up scandal with my status!) -- I'm still going in circles trying to re-do everything in the Labyrinth and my notability is practically nothing. Still, it's a challenge!
