Is there a way to lose your "Vermin Free" quality?

I'm curious as to whether I can lose this quality, as I've lost my Disgraced Rattus Faber Bandit Chief and, well... I was kinda fond of him. Any advice for playing back through the Plagued by Vermin storylets?

Nope, I'm afraid there is no way. You can, however, use Fate to get him back if you side with the Albino Rat. It costs 10 Fate.
