New Newgate Suspicion help please!

Hello! I'm in New Newgate for being too Suspicious and have got my level down to 0, but it is actually still 1 - not entirely blameless -, due to my equipped items. How can I get rid of them? I've been to my inventory but can't use any other them due to being in the New Newgate!
How do I get out! Help please!

You can't just click them to take them off? If you're really having trouble, you can escape by drawing the right cards and collecting items - you'll need a shiv, a dirigible schedule and a knotted rope.
