Quick question - is the Wiki right that only repeatedly the Shrine of Deep Blue Heaven can push it past level 3?

This doesn't seem to be correct. I've just been through Thieves Cache twice and my Archaeologist quality has stayed at 4, so that was obviously a bit of a waste of time. Does anyone know which ones I need to do to reach level 5? I was pretty sure I'd already done Deep Blue Heaven, and I've definitely done Uttermost Wind.

Thieves Cache gives 1cp of Archaeologist so you need to do it more than twice to progress from 4 to 5.

Really? Oh ok, it's difficult to tell. There's no progress bar, it just keeps saying "Your Archaeologist skill is now 4.". It's said that for two Thieves Cache and one Deep Blue Heaven expeditions now. Any one know how many expeditions it takes?

To get from 4 to 5 you need 5 CP, and two Thieves' Caches (2 x 1 CP) and one Shrine of Deep Blue Heaven (2 CP) should mean that your next expedition will get you to level 5. After which you'll start seeing a message about how the quality can't go any higher, not that it 'is now 5'.

Thank you all for your advice! Seems like Archaeologist is one of the few qualities that don't show your CP progress, which made it a bit of a mystery. Sounds like I should reach next level with my next expedition then.
