Grinding Main Qualities, Second Chance, and Menace

Hi Everyone!
As many of you suggested to me that I should try to increase my main qualities, I'm aiming to raise and reach the cap of my MQ first. As a side, I'll grind echoes (through the court), acquire salon, and increase renown. With this, I'm currently checking of ways to quickly reach the main quality cap. One method I found was to use second chances. Quite expensive but I think it's well worth it. However, they can easily be used up, especially when playing an almost impossibly low chance challenge. Are there any grinds for second chances?
I know that grinding MQ are almost anywhere. But maybe there's a recommended, repeatable, and better way of increasing main qualities?
Second topic I mentioned was the salon. I'm short of 5 resources (2 favours and 3 menace). Are there any repeatable way to gain Scandal quick?

Second chances are given out for loitering, duelling and chess, so send out those invitations. Scandal can be had from drinking black wings absinthe and from various Bohemian-linked and Hell-linked actions, at least that's where mine seems to come from. Might want to build up hedonist as well.

Another thing to consider is that Favors can be spent for a quite substantial boost to main stats, from the faction's opportunity card. It's action efficient and can be done in parallel with other activities (since Favors are card-based), but it also competes with Renown.

Wilmont's End will let you grind all main qualities. The two paths for building Dramatic Tension are Shadowy/Dangerous and Persuasive/Watchful, but all are in the same area and repeatable.
