Now in London, with cats, owls, and foxes, I know that raising a bear is not easy, but maybe we can have a dangerous bear?I look forward to the day when they meet in my chance card.

Too easy. This is Fallen London. Give me an Erudite Bear or a Ursine Cutpurse.

I agree. I was just stuck in a room with a hungry tiger for most of a day, and the reason people were scared of him was because he was going to write a review in the newspaper.

I want to meet a bear whose reputation for ferocity is demonstrated as he savagely rips to shreds the facile and ham-fisted arguments you try to advance in the Rhetoric class he teaches at Benthic.

Well, bears like caves, and the Neath has to be the biggest cave of them all...

Are you a Paramount Presence? Record your name here. For posterity, of course.

I remember that at the Season of Hobbies's Conclusion that we get to play Build-A-Bear (with certain Neathly results), but an actual bear? That can be interesting.

Well, we *are* missing a Rare Companion for Watchmaker's Hill. There are plenty of wolves in them marshes, so why not a bear?

Would the cost for raising and feeding such a creature be bearable for the normal Londoner?
But regardless of that, I love the idea of a full grown bear or bear Cub as companion.
(And with Hallowmas we might be able to feed them Prisoners honey and take them with us to Parabola, maybe their fur will become quite interesting to see.)

pleasure to meet you.

Has some ideas the Masters won't approve of like some items and establishing a Colony in Parabola.

I will accept most social interactions (not duping). I do enjoy role playing as well.
Have some possibly still active codes!

Surely we could add a bear as a partner in the Last Dance? That should cause some talk.

I'm with Verrain; I love the idea of an Ursine Cutpurse. Even though bears are so large, the idea of a successful Ursine Cutpurse would be truly remarkable.

now this I can get behind dangerous and shadowy (or maybe even "persuasive" after all I find being bitten to death a very persuasive argument)

Perhaps the reason no bears are around is simply because we've been eating them this entire time. The butcher we've been going to when we host private suppers has been deceiving us all along because the last time I checked, Neath or not bears don't have antlers.

Make sure you cook all meat well-done in the future. Bear meat is notorious for trichinosis.
