Does anyone know if Failbetter plans to turn the other connected traits into renown?

In my opinion, this would be unlikely. The remaining connected traits are to The Masters, The Widow, The Duchess, Summerset University, and Bentley University. These connected traits are different from the other factions, mechanics wise, even before they were converted into the favours/renown system. None of them have the 'Closest to' quality or faction cards. They would require massive overhauls beforehand to make the transfer successfully.

That's what I figured. The connected definitely makes a bit more sense in a lot of ways, I just know that other factions were changed over to renown.

And a good reason to raise them above 321!  With a multiplying factor of 6, this would have been the minimum level to convert connected to renown 50, but you can go higher!

Beyond even the mechanical portions, it also doesn't make sense in the narrative way. Each one of those (colleges aside), is a far smaller group, or an individual person, whereas you could even go so far as to say that the other factions are subcultures.
