I only recently began pursuing Enigma again. I just want to know how far it goes, and if anyone would be willing to give me a tip or two as I seem to be a tiny bit stuck at 2.

If I'm not mistaken you can go up to three by now.
Progressing from 1 to 2 isn't difficult; it requires finding a storylet.
Progressing from 2 to 3 is, well, I haven't gotten so far.
It's a shame Alexis left, I'm not sure where that leaves enigma.

I guess it must have been a dev I saw with Enigma 5. And what of the Eggshell Painted Black, I am highly intrigued by that.

The Eggshell is a small easter egg (heh) but the original hint no longer exists. Here's an unofficial one.

These are the saving grace for any Enigma searcher. As for the last link, Spacemarine9 gives little hints here and there for Enigma, the Eggshell Painted Black, and a certain forgetful mark. Best of luck on your search.
