Lack of Professional Payment?

On Monday, TtH arrived with, inter alia, this message: "You may have a Professional Payment waiting at your Lodgings." There was no Professional Payment waiting at my Lodgings. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the "may" to be taken literally ... will we sometimes now not get a Professional Payment with TtH?

So long as you have a job, *and don't still have a payment from earlier*. You don't get to grab two payments at once. If you miss one, you miss it forever.
