The Painted Ring-repeat

So, I have just completed the painted ring(stage 3 of the fighting rings), and got a mark of the true duelist(one of the four to choose)
What would happen, if I repeat the ring? Will I get a second mark, or will it just replace the old one/ no mark will be given?
It'm just too bored to grind rats->rostygold->terror->passphrases, to test it myself(it took about half a day to get the painted ring, and I had to spend a rare second chance)

The mark is a one-time reward for raising your Making Your Name quality, you can only have one of them.
