This is tough, when taken as a whole there are strengths and weaknesses to each, despite the earlier seasons having some of the best stories. The past two have an advantage in being inherently linked, though imo Revolutions is linked nicely by the end as well.

I did not play the second two stories of the Season of Revolutions, but I've played all the others.
I thought overall that Flint is the strongest story of the ones involved in the last 5 Seasons, but the strongest Season overall is the Season of Skies. The Art of Murder and The Waltz that Moved the World really couldn't compare to Flint.

There are different factors to consider. So for me:
- Best quality of all 3 stories together: Season of Skies
- Best bonus-story at the end: Season of Wrecks
Both of these seasons were much more coherent than the previous ones (i.e. felt like 3 chapters of one complete story).

That was tough because seasons are such complex collections of content. In the end I voted for Heart's Blood because overall I think it is the best collection of stories. That being said, a lot of my favourite stories are actually in different seasons, it's just that I didn't love the other stories in those seasons as much.
Also, Heart's Blood has the most forgettable bonus story, in my opinion. All the others are much better with my favourites probably being the Family Ties- or the Revolutions-story.

I really liked The Frequently Deceased and The Pentecost Predicament, but the Seven Day Reigns dragged them down. The bonus story is neat, but they don't really tie to the seasonal theme.
Heart's Blood has a strong common thread about the Thief-of-Face, but the bonus story was too unrelated and overhyped. Flint's ominous message of "keep this bottle of Stone essence very safe because you can do something great with it!" turning out to be "eat it with some bloodstained rag" does not help, even if Miriam's a good dining companion.

Grr, I made the mistake of choosing to see the results before voting for one of the seasons.
For me there are two things to consider. First is a decision of individual stories standing out versus overall quality of the season. The Calendar Code was marvelous, but I didn't care much its accompanying stories. The Season of Wrecks had a great overarching theme of fulfilling the last requests, but seemed disjointed in each individual narrative - though the bonus-story was fantastic.
Second is a decision of scope. When thinking about the game in terms of day-to-day, ordinary London life, the Family Ties season was both picaresque and excellent. When thinking more ambitiously about London, its place among the different factions, and its future, The Season of Skies takes the cake.
Ultimately, I think I'd put my vote towards the Season of Skies. I'm a sucker for lore and big ideas, and these last couple of seasons have provided both in abundance.

well seeing as how ive played literally nothing of the seasons before season of wrecks(since i cant purchase fate for reasons i simply can not fathom anything fate locked is not something i can comment on)and since i remember nothing of the last emissary and were you and i must go for some reason then i would have to pick season of skies realy but even though i found its climax VERY interesting and i loved train to hell for various reasons the other 2 just didn't much for me realy.

To avoid just writing 'bump', here's my own take on the Seasons:
Heart's Blood: Obviously, Flint was special in every way. The Waltz was very good, too, while Art of Murder fell slightly short for me. Nothing particularly wrong with it, just not exactly my cuppa. The bonus content was fun, but a bit short. I'd say 4/5
Family Ties: Frequently Deceased is one of my favourite stories ever, but the other two weren't so good. Bonus was creepy and interesting though. 3/5
Revolutions: 5 Minutes to Midday fell short for me because I think it just failed to fulfill its enormous potential: it felt like 99% buildup and 1% anti-climax. The other two were extremely good though, and so was the bonus story. 4/5
Wrecks: My one major nitpick with this season is Our Lady of Pyres, which I absolutely loathed. The other two and the bonus were great though, so I'd go for 3.5/5 here.
Skies: Truly exceptional front-to-back, 5/5 edited by phryne on 3/3/2017

Though Flint remains my favourite piece of content for Fallen London, ES or otherwise, I had to go with the season of Skies, as all three of its stories made it to my top-five list of ES'es. . edited by Akernis on 3/4/2017
