It requires 3x as much clicking to sell our info. Especially annoying since Constables are one of the next factions to switch to renown.

For what little it is worth, I can vouch for this change. I have spent months grinding my devil and constable connections via this route inbetween my other objectives.

I think that's there so that you're not able to sit in that storylet below Casing 4, and so if FBG want to keep this minimum in place then it'd need a little more reworking than simply making it loop. I can, however, definitely vouch for it being a little inconvenient!

The question remains, even if Failbetter would want to update the loop, what would be the point since both remaining connection factions are going to be updated next?

It could redirect back into the storylet for gaining casing, which would mean one less step.

True, that would reduce clicks - although you can also get into the Sell Information storylet via The Big Score: Choose A Target, so looping back to the Preparing for a Big Score storylets would be inconvenient for the non-grinders using the option to burn off a little extra casing before launching into the robbery proper. It's quite the tangle of interconnected storylets!

Or FBG can put the Casing 4 requirement on all the branches, then make it a standalone storylet that shows up with Casing 4?
