Would it cheer Snow Belie up to know a certain psychotic pervert has asked her out on a date? :P

You'll have to be more specific which psychotic pervert? There are many that stal...admire her! Big Grin

Well, crap. I guess the invite he sent her wasn't dirty enough to make him stand out from the crowd.

He'd be happy to make up for it by doing obscene things with doughnuts and cinnamon twists at the coffee shop if only the lovely lady will accept :P

EDIT: OMG you turned him down! Oh dear! XD

Good thing he's got a few cellars of wine stockpiled to drown his sorrows in :P

She's...no longer that kind of woman...she has a new thing that fills her that...isn't the old way. Purpose.

(I normally do not double post, but, considering the topic, he deserved his own reply.)

Snow Belie was shuttling between home and Court, again and again preparing for yet another symphony. At last, Symphony number...what was it again...was Complete. She prepared its playing and had its performance at the Court's Concert hall.

But this one was different. From the first note of its chord, she...was not there anymore.

Again, she was whisked to a vision of the Future, but this one was far in the future...very far.

One hundred twenty two years exactly she knew oddly.
She saw flashes earlier from that date announced to that of a man...no, a Muse!

One whose Soul was technically only barely contained by its flesh.
Whose power of communication was in its purest form of Bohemian creativity...no, this wasn't even Bohemian any more! It transcended that and...something about Rocks and Rolls...to encompass all Art itself!

The visions flashed one after another, wounding her but she not caring from their Magnificence.

    • She saw visions of the Correspondence almost completely translated properly turned into English with a Man who Fell to Earth [I won't link questionable free viewing online links to any mentioned copyrighted movie, but you are free.to search for it yourself]
    • She was taken to beneath the Fifth Coil of the Labyrinth of Tigers...no, wait, this was yet another undiscovered Labyrinth.
She saw the Legend of The Man with many Titles
    And the recently titled:

    • She saw a person who even knew how to make the simple art of Dancing Transcendent, as kitschy as this future's clothing style, buildings, horseless carriages and flying constructs appeared....of course, many people would never understand kitsch outside Germany being such an Avant-Garde word in the present 1894 today, but the Bohemians would indeed....
    • And the final one she saw was another whose Tribute of Major Tom made the man himself once say "..the most poignant version of the song ever created." This location confused her. She knew the residence was in the Heavens, but did not understand why the man performing seemed to float as if made of Ether.

At the end of that vision, coinciding with the crescendo of her Symphony, she saw what few others could see. Perhaps it was the connection to the "many worlds," perhaps it was a wishful thought even though she knew what the others Above did, or perhaps it was the Gift one Artist gives to another. She inwardly hoped that was the reason.
She saw the Soul of the Legend known as "David Bowie" depart his frail form, and rise, rise into the Heavens...but it had become something that no Human had become before (and perhaps none will do since.) She saw the Soul...the Seed of Magnificence...hatch into a Star itself! A...Black Star!

It did not Hunger for other Souls, it did not Order rules. It dared to Break them by Giving Sustenance and warmth and Shone upon that Station (to Station) in the Spatial heavens...far above the Earth.
She felt one last Echo of Major Tom's once-Human-formed Legend...as he truly transitioned his Final and Beloved title...Starman:

    ...Planet Earth is Blue
And There's Nothing I can Do.

As Snow Belie's Symphony ended, snapping her back to her present Reality, her Astonishing work's thunderous Applause was met with awe as nobody there understood the true reason for the Melancholy welled up in her and bursting into Wrenching Sobs as the Author let loose with her tears...and her Author, her Creator's Sobs channeling through her at this world's future Loss and Heaven's gain.
