The Impertinent Footman
He is returning below stairs. Enough of this stifling elitism. You crave the easy company of the common man.
Your absence will reduce your Making Waves slightly.
There's some of it on the wiki, me I have this to spare...
You were unlucky. Better luck next time...

Yup, lost while trying my luck with the butler

Wish I'd seen this before I just sped through a party because my deck was empty. I'll definitely make a point of having a chat with him in the future, but ouch that fail.

Gamble with the footmen At first it's for shards of jade, but as the stakes rise and they start betting with their master's rare vintages, things get more interesting. A matter of luck: it could go either way.
Gossip with the chambermaids You'll need to bring secrets of your own, of course. Let's see whether they know anything useful. You can acquire Intriguing Snippets by using Influence items in your inventory. A matter of luck: pretty good odds.
Probe the butler The secrets he keeps are remarkable, but whether you can wheedle them from him depends on how much he's been nipping from that silver flask in his back pocket. You'll have to stake some Confident Smiles on this. A matter of luck: it could go either way.

None, unless you want to gamble on Broken Giant instead of getting 1 more cp of Talk of the Town.

I appreciate the bit of much-needed variety and freshness that this card introduces to parties, but I don't think its rewards are worth the Making Waves decrease... Although Broken Giant sounds nice.
Think we'll get even more dinner party cards in the future?

The guests are such colorful characters (some of them appearing in other places too), which makes this card a triple disappointment. You can't earn Talk of the Town, you lose Making Waves, and you don't get another interesting person with hilarious event.

I was reading along about the new card and accidentally reported one of these to the mods. Oops, sorry about that. Didn't mean to!

Not being able to cancel reporting to moderators is slightly annoying, I've accidentally done that myself a few times.
