Just noticed that my Shadowy and my Persuasive went over 150! Has a new cap been set, and is that accompanied by new content too?

Dangerous and Watchful as well.
With the drop in the difficulty system's scaling factor a while back, it makes sense to lift the cap. Otherwise, you end up with characters stat capped and with the best gear, but still have an unavoidable chance of failure.

Question about level caps: When the cap is "150" or somesuch, does that mean you won't be able to level your stat higher than that, or that clothing/etc won't have an effect past that point?

The former - clothing and other gear is the only way to reach stat levels above the cap.

Thanks! I hadn't gotten my stat high enough to check, yet. I bet Dangerous, Watchful and Persuasive are similarly capped.

Dangerous, Watchful and Shadowy are all capped at 160. Persuasive is not.
I'm not sure whether that's a bug or a sign that we're about to see the release of a Persuasive-based area.
Edit: ... and my Shadowy and Dangerous just started going up again. Interesting.

Actually the cap was just changed, I have been able to go over 160 Dangerous.

My shadowy is currently above 160; I'd assume the level cap for all four stats is now at 170 or 175, but we'll have to wait and confirm that
