Been playing the game for a bit now and looking to find the best stories. Ladybones road has been the best, tea with the vicar is especially great. Other places to find the best stories for a youngling?

Depends on what you want. spite offers opportunities for shadowy, ladybones road for watchful, veilgarden for persuasive, and watchmaker's hill for dangerous. Mrs. plenty's carnival for connections, if you need some in a hurry- otherwise, just wait, you'll get them naturally in time. Each of the areas has a sidequest for that stat- the vicar for watchful, the orphan for shadowy, the clay coalman for dangerous, and there's someone for persuasive too, though i don't remember who at the moment.
If it's interesting plotlines you're after, the orphan's storyline is interesting, and the clay coalman isn't bad, but it's been months since i was in the early game, so i don't know what would interest you.
