So, I am curious: is it still possible to create a Clay Man character? Because I don't think I'm able to make one right now, unless the link has changed. If it has been cut, why is that, and would it ever be possible to play that content again? I just. Really love Clay men and wanted to try something with them and the House of Chimes.

I don't think it is possible; they probably removed the option when they switched Fallen London to StoryNexus to prevent shenanigans. Certain low-grade shenanigans actually are possible with existing Claypeople, but on the overall, the system seems to be disgustingly shenanigan- (and exploit-)proof.
