Cannot access lodgings?

Hello there, I'm extremely new here so please bear with me.
I've got the gist of things so far, and have acquired my first lodging beyond that dingy crypt - the Spare Bedroom. Upon acquiring it, I was automatically taken there and was able to see it on the travel map and access all of the Story options within; however, I left to pursue other activities before attempting anything inside. Now I cannot get back in! The lodging does not appear on the map, and I can't find any other way to get there. The lodging is still present and active under the 'Myself' tab.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you cleared out snow from your path yet? That might be stopping you.
If you haven't, I'm sure someone can oblige and help you out. Pails of snow are pretty useful!
