The Six Handed Merchant: Private detective, good samaritan, scandalous social progressive, Soul Shepherd with the CVR, orphanage patron/matron, Correspondent, Nocturnal Bohemian, labor union backer, radical academic, truth seeker, free thinker, spider whisperer, honey-dreaming hedonist, Extraordinary Mind. If it's truth you seek, The Six Handed Merchant is the gentlemen-, er, lady-, er, detective you need! Just pay no mind to that Eradication Officer tailing Six: that poor fellow is simply out of his mind!

"You could try The Bazzar maybe. I found many a strange thing there. or failing that, if you have certain, shall we say, contacts, you could offer them a job."

So, the big announcement of the season: Feduchi and The Captivating princess are getting married! The first royal wedding since the fall! How do you feel about it?

It is a fine occasion to break out the '68! After all, a Royal Wedding is a rare thing. Actually, rumour has it that the Captivating Princess has a taste for Honey. If so, then she has my undying loyalty, as people who can hold their booze & honey are people worthy of leadership. It's why I like Feducci, even if he is an Italian (which he must be, with that name).

    Where was I? As, yes.

Which of the three sisters of Hunter's Keep is your favourite to spend time with?

HP: I personally enjoyed spending time with all 3 sisters of Hunter's Keep. Each of them had their merits and none were a bore to be around. Why, I almost wished I had stayed behind... Regardless, if I were to choose my favorite, it would be none other than Ms Lucy. (I do apologize, Ms Cynthia and Ms Phoebe.) Despite the pain of losing her beloved, she still had the ability to see past the pain and saw the humour and joy she had in her past. She would be fit to stand in any salon worth their salt. Of course, as I have iterated, I enjoyed the company of all 3 sisters of Hunter's Keep.

Since Penstock's Wicket has open its doors, I must ask. For those who have one, how do you feel about your Noman?

[cathyr19355] Yes. I vowed to myself that, despite all my dealings with Devils I would never sell my soul. And then, through sheer negligence and inadvertence, I did. Twice.

Why have you advanced the Liberation of Night if you have done so?

[cathyr19355] I have done so many times with my Tigresses (it occasionally pleases my own Orphan, Dudley Doorite, to serve us), and I have also had tea and biscuits with members of the Court of the Wakeful Eye. Many of their serving Orphans are boys I brought to the Court in my own ship. Contrary to London opinion, the members of the Court do not devour or hunt such boys; they prefer to train them to perform all of the genteel functions of life for which hands with opposable thumbs are a necessity. Those boys are paid handsomely, permitted to leave the Court after puberty, and often make fortunes for themselves at other courts.

I've sold it twice so far, once when I first arrived, it was more like it was stolen then I merely got a collection of Sapphires, Nevercold Brass and such likes, the second time I gained a fabulous diamond from with, it's so shiny!

Who amongst you is happily married, to whom? Or planning to get married?

I am happily married to an alt of mine, the Lady of Lemons. We are both happily married because we're both running a Notability fraud scheme on the Bazaar. Ixc gains Notability and ingratiates himself to the Bazaar, while the Lady of Lemons sabotages the Bazaar in a unique way.

Way back when I found out you could get it back, I bought and sold it like twelve times to see if “Metaphysical Caprice” did anything. I always hoped I’d start going sour. “Better that Parabola had rotted your lights”.

My Profession is part of who I am, as a Midnighter and Invisible Eminence.
As well as my passion, plus it's nice to have a small shrine at home. Forgivement for my sins is less than a block away. If I wanted to be forgiven for said sins.

What is the sin you indulge most in here, in London?

Dr. Johnathan Priest: Wrath. It's led me down here and still is my only beacon of reason in the darkness.
Ms. Jane Barlowe: It's sloth, perhaps. I often do nothing for ages! That's a destiny of the alt.
Ms. Cardinalli Browning: How do we qualify a craving for a deadly humour? Lust?

Question is: what was your most disturbing encounter down here, the thing, person or place you considered scariest of all?

Den Blackwell: Have you heard of the Avid Horizon, the Gate that lies up North? Have you felt your bones quake and your blood freeze as all color disappears from the surroundings, leaving nothing to see but an endless pool of stars? Have you seen the damned that have written their names in remembrance, begging for the forgiveness of the Empress? I have, and I warn that those seeking to enter it will be destroyed in the process. Whatever lies North is indeed too cold for gods, and certainly too cold for ourselves.

Question: How do you think the Neath will end?

I think the Neath will not end, if it will end it shall be in a fierce and bloody battle between the Revolutionaries, Hell, the Masters, the Khanate, Polythreme and who knows it what other factions!

But even then, in the remains of the battle, some will survive who will continue in the Neath's way of life probably, since no-one who died or lived down here can go up into the sunlight once more.

My question is how do you enjoy your time down here in the Neath? With a grand Scheme to follow or do you just live day-to-day?

People watching. Puzzle solving. Pocket picking. Homeless helping. Answering trivial questions. Any way I can to wile away the hours. Opportunities to advance my search are so few and far between. There is so much dreadful time to pass. It's all I can do to search for endeavors to occupy my restless mind while I wait.

And now I need to think of a compelling question for the person who will arrive after me. More mind-numbing tasks...

Question: I have with me a magic item. It's exactly what you've always wanted; it does exactly what you need to help you on your quests, and it looks exactly like you hope it does. What is it?

A little music box that tells me stories untold and secrets forgotten, it can tell me the secrets of anyone who's name I tell it, even those they told no-one and kept only in their heart.

I ask you, where is it you have taken up residence? Where do you plan to be taking up residence if you would move, and why?
