That mad idea which I actually started to actively pursue in late 2015, completion of all long-term semi-finite tasks, and all 'endgame' items... done.

Three months ago I had written this, now it's time to wrap-up:

1. Paramount Presence.

2. All Renowns up to 40 with relevant faction gifts too.

3. Firkin of Hesperidean Cider

4. Heptagoat, Ubergoat, Overgoat

5. All valuable Relicker's items, ending today with Reported Location of a One-Time Prince of Hell. Funny that was my first such item all these years ago, and now it's the last one.

6. ...including all the ones a bit less valuable, too.

7. And, last but not least, the Seven-Fold Knock.

What's left? A bit of Chess dreams, and the Boatman's Opponent. But these ones hardly can be named big goals.

Oh, and Ambitions, and all the other unfinished stories. But for now, I am at the finish line.

Congratulations! After I finished with Cider, I went for two things: Master's Blood, and the materials for a Parabolan Camp. You can always try those!

While Master's Blood is here, as well as Impossible Theorem, and Fluke Core, and even Crimson Book... what is the materials for Parabolan Camp? I am intrigued.

For the record, has anyone collected all the requirements yet? Especially that dream quality at 99... I confess to having some trouble imagining how long one would need for that, or whether it's even possible...

Btw, I believe you can only see this storylet if you're a Glassman.

Maybe FBG will do something for hardcore players. Yeah, cider and heptagoat are there, but looks like even this is not enough.

It would be nice to have one more long goal with really good reward. Even if its FATE-locked.

Long grinds: Heptagoat 1/7; Cider Done; Correspondence 21/21; Paramount 4/4.

Now you just need to get all three Newspaper qualities to ten wink

(And of course, if you haven't done them yet, there's SotC 21, Poet-Laureate, Renown 50...)

I have all the materials save the dream at 99, but I doubt this requirement will remain. The game will eiter give you a way to grind it, or remove it alltogether. The first option would be incredibly tedious UNLESS it is an entire storylet that lets you have access to the camp itself in the end. That would make some sense - you get so many dreams, that you are drawn inexorably to Parabola in the end, and build the Camp to further explore. Like an antechamber to the Camp, same as the 5th Coil is an antechamber to the Tiger Court.

That's impressive! (Or else it means you have too much time on your hands, I'm not sure which. ;-) )

I consider the Heptagoat a waste of resources. I have taken my alt Seeking, so I don't intend to go through that with my 10-year-old main character just for the Knock.

I am interested in the other objectives you have attained. Here's where I stand:

1. I am a Paramount Presence.

2. I have the Renowns up to 40 or more (and have collected all the relevant gifts) EXCEPT for Bohemians (I'm at 15; it's going to take a while!). I attained 40 Renown: The Docks and collected the Mine a few days ago.

3. The Cider. I have 40,009 Echoes. My objective is to buy the Cider without draining the rest of my inventory. At the rate I'm going, though, this one will still take me a couple of years.

4. I have an Ubergoat and an Overgoat. As for Heptagoat, see above.

5. & 6. I have all of the Relicker items except for the 3200 Scrap ones. After a long hiatus, I am accumulating Scraps again and have over 900.

There's an idea. I might do that...though the newspaper grind bores me after a while. I have Defender of Truth at 10, Cardinal of Conspiracy at 3, and Prophet of the Gutter at 1, so it might not be too lengthy.

Fascinating!

I am not a Paramount Presence and am unsure whether I wish to become one.

I have all the renown I care for at 40 or more.

I have 139523.32 cash in hand, an oddly similar number to yours with a one tacked on the front. I could liquidate more assets and buy cider, but I am with you in wanting to keep my goods. What need for haste when one will have eternity?

The Heptagoat is a silly thing. One can have enough goat.

I have all the relicker items. I could get cider even without selling them! But has anyone else gotten 7 such items? We shall see!

I've been working on this one for a few weeks now. The 165 or so required whirring contraptions is...discouraging.

I only want to get Defender of Truth. What discourages me is the interviews! RNG dependent, and you have to wait for answers... over and over again. Pity, the Newspapers could become quite the mechanic in FL.

The interviews are definitely the most painful part. I can't imagine doing it without an alt or two to help out; at least that way you can stockpile the interview invitations while doing other things.

I've just been using the solo cards since they give 6 copy each. They hit with enough frequency that I can pretty easily get two of the same type in a day given that the first one can be of any type (since I'm raising all three stats). It is a little inefficient with up to two wasted plays if I get a spread of all three before a dupe, but it doesn't feel particularly frustrating that way.
