What a curious sensation, to have a puppy threaten that which is less than nothing.

It is not nothing.

It is a something.

A something can be destroyed.

Is that the same dang cat you sent to me? I will have you know he was a lovely houseguest and we had a nice conversation before he returned to the street.

But really, it's hard to keep things simple down here!

"Yeah, well, I'm known for that."

I can now take on protégés in the art of hitting things. Hitting them with fists, hitting them with canes, hitting them with swords, hitting them with bullets, hitting them with a shoe... I learned that last one from the Campaigner!

Well, I must admit. I applaud you for attempting this herculean task.
Mind, I have my doubts about your actually succeeding at this task, but I applaud you none the less.

You sent me a box full of rat saboteurs, good sir.

Or at least that's what was inside when I opened it.

I must say, the image of an adorable little pup and seven adorable little goats going North...Well, it might just warm Mr Eaten's nonexistent heart!

I mean, he's already stoned from all the honey thrown down the well. This might just be his best year.

I'm a a bit skeptical of you having a 100% success rate. So, I did some math.
It's a 70% chance at success on both a sense of deja vu and a glimpse of something larger. The chances at succeeding on both of those is 49%. Extrapolating that out to 456, that's .49 to the 456th power (.49 times .49 times .49, etc.). To give you an idea of how astronomically low the chances of 456 successes, it's a value that my scientific calculator can't even display. It's 5.363 times 10 to the negative 142nd power.

So I believe there are three possible conclusions. One, an extraordinary statistical anomaly has occurred- but I would like to see proof of this. Two, you've been abusing the app, which is against the rules, although I highly doubt you would telegraph it if you were. Or three, lacking any proof that you've succeeded, you're merely trolling us, which I believe is against the forum rules.

Personally, I believe the third is the most likely occurrence. Of course, if you can provide evidence that you've actually succeeded, I'm sure we'd all be happy to see it.

Drake, you really think... Wow, I must have been convincing. Sorry for leading all of you on like that.

Again, sorry. Allow me to explain myself.

One of my quirks is that I tend to flip being logical and being illogical a lot, right? I assume y'all have noticed.

Well, I decided it would be fun to just not acknowledge RNG or chance at all. Part of my character, yea? Sounds pretty dumb, but no one else has done that before in this community.

I wanted to be *pops collar* original.

Yet, IRL I'm just another dude. I did not have astronomical odds with my item conversions. I had some lucky streaks. I had some unlucky streaks.

To spoiler the magic for everyone, I actually had to go through about 750+ Tales of Terror to get this number:

It is amazing that I even got this far. Took me forever and a half.

Yes, yes. The reality is that I am susceptible to RNG just as much as everyone else. Aaaannd it'll only get harder from here, as the odds of success are decreasing rapidly.

So whenever I joke about stuff like that... um... - It's my fault for thinking everyone was in on MY joke.

tl;dr I enjoy pretending RNG doesn't exist as long as I have the time, effort, and sometimes money to achieve what I desire.

Ah, thank you for the elucidation. Since you've posted a number of these threads, of varying degrees of seriousness, I wasn't sure how to take your claim- I assumed good faith in your quest for 7 heptagoats. But hey, it's all cool. Have your fun, I'll keep my math away from now on.

All I see are puppies and insanity. Logic, not a lick! upset

750 Tales to 456 Deals are berry good odds, tho. The average is 370 Deals from 750 Tales.

EDIT: good grief, why did it save like that. Fixed some stuff.

Tystefy sat at his completely normal and regular size desk. At the same time, it was comically large.

He was currently staring at some papers, sloughing his shoulders, head bent down at an admirable 45 degree angle.

Not reading. Just staring.

Gentleman Butler gently peeked over Tystefy's shoulder.

"... Sir?"

Tystefy snapped to attention immediately. It didn't take him a full 5 seconds to register the voice, and he certainly didn't raise his head to a 91 degree angle to look up at GB.

What. Tystefy shoved out something resembling speech through the small hole in his lips. His eyes remained dazed and droopy.

"The... erm... room you requested has been completed."

Tystefy continued staring.

The what. he gracefully uttered once more.

"The containment chamber? The safe that you wanted to, and I quote, 'hold the light of a sun'?"

The staring could hardly qualify as staring anymore. Hearing nothing, GB pressed his advance.

"The contractors you hired are expecting their payment? Today's the deadline?"

... Why?

GB shuffled his legs a bit. "Well... people usually expect payment when promis-"

I meant... Tystefy massaged his temple somehow, head still bent in an adorable 91 angle. Why did I do that.

"D0 what, sir?"

The chamber.

GB grew more uncomfortable, conflicted between Tystefy's sleepy cuteness and his apparent amnesia.

"I believe you wanted a place to store all of the Coruscati-"

Tystefy waved a paw dismissively (with GB's help).

Right. Right.

The two sorta stood there for a while.

Then, in one fell swoop, GB picked Tystefy up in a baby-like manner.

Noooooo Tystefy whined, sluggishly struggling against the comfy grip that contained him.

"Sir, I think this is for the best. You need to sleep."

No u. he mumbled, snuggling closer into GB's suit.

Sighing, Gentleman Butler carefully walked out of the study, snuffing the candles on the way out, and closed the door.
