You can buy them?

Primarily, I got them through grinding "The Student Body" at the University, when I thought it could give me back my soul - at "Opening a bundle..." 99, you get, amongst other things, a Starveling Cat.

Would you like a sip of cider? Send an in-game request. See an_ocelot's guide here, for how to easiest do so.

An acquaintance of mine, a poor, confused and haphazard soul to be sure, is searching for something. I think what you are offering here may help her in her search or perhaps convince her she is mad and she should live out the rest of her days supping laudanum as I keep telling her, to no avail I might add. To be sure I saw her biting someone's dog once. Really? Anyway her name is Mrs Eaten if someone could do her the favour of sending a card I am sure it would be appreciated - how she would show that appreciation I shudder to think - mad I tell you.

Also seeking a card! I'm finishing my betrayals tonight and hoping to set sail away for the Winking Isle. I will return it or pass it on as soon as I'm 29 and can acquire my own. Big Grin

How on Earth did you get a dozen Starveling Cats?

When you reach the part in Seeking which requires a starveling cat (i.e. for staining your soul) you can just buy them, with no limit.

Those options are locked with one Starveling Cat.

Those options are locked with one Starveling Cat.

But you can always transfer that one cat to another character and buy another. Repeat indefinitely.

Christmas note: I'll try to respond in kind to received Christmas cards, but there's no way I'll be able to send a card to all who have sent one to me.

Want a sip of Hesperidean Cider? Send me a request in-game. Here's an_ocelot's guide how.

I would very much appreciate a card which might bring me closer to the end of this search. To the end of this everlasting HUNGER that is eating awayat my sanity.

In the next week or so I expect to be done with my sojourn on Winking Isle. I'll be able to pass a card along then. I also have the material to acquire one, perhaps two more. I'd like to check in on who still needs one.

I would very much appreciate a card. How long have you been searching for the name?

It appears that Jadall and Master Jade are no longer acceptable recipients. I've sent a card to Mrs Eaten. Zero, you shall be the next.

The advent calendar has slightly delayed me by kicking me off Winking Isle. I should have known better, but knowing better has never been my strong suit. Obviously.

I've sent a card to Jadall, and I am gathering my last enigmas for another visit to the deep archives. It is almost time for me to give something up one last time before venturing NORTH.

Zero83 is the last on my list, but as of this morning wasn't a valid recipient. I'm not sure if that means he already received one or has left London, but I'll have a card and need to get rid of it soon. A reckoning, as they say, shall not be postponed indefinitely.

I, too, have started my long and dark journey towards a reckoning and self-destruction... and, foolhardy as it may be, I seek the Card. Is there any soul not yet fully insane, and willing to part with one to assist a fellow seeker on the road that always leads NORTH?

Zero083 has received my last card, and my duties are discharged. The NORTH calls and I go. May my final gifts bring the pain of revelation and the revelation of pain to the seekers who come after me.

Against my better judgement, I've decided to pick Seeking back up and finally see it through to the end. If anyone has a spare card they could send me, I'd be extremely grateful. smile

Claire is making preparations for the voyage and is willing to pass on a certain card. Unfortunately both Alice Lutwidge and Kadrelor seem to be away from London at the time I'm writing this message and I would prefer to depart in a few days. I will keep on checking their status in game, but if there are other volunteers let them speak and earn their damnation.
Edit: and sent to Kadrelor. Time to board my zub.

This Londoner (Anvil) has reached the point in Seeking where he can make use of a certain Calling Card, and would be very grateful to anyone who could procure him one.

Update : I have reached SMEN 27, and with two candles yet to acquire will reach 29 soon, so I will soon be able to create my own Calling Card and no longer need to be sent one.
